Obituary

PRIOLE, JR.JOSEPH F. 'JOE' Age 36, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Joe was born in Cape May Court House, NJ and lived in Burlington County area for the past 35 years. He founded and operated Champion Martial Arts, a martial arts academy, in Maple Shade, NJ.

His unique compassionate teaching style was enjoyed and cherished by hundreds of students.

Joe was a member of the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion who won medals in the World Championships, Pan American Games, U.S. Nationals, and numerous other tournaments, in addition to IFC Professional Competitions. Joe also founded and operated 'One Vow' a non-profit organization to teach women self defense against violence.

Joe is survived by his parents Joseph, Sr. and Linda Priole, brothers William, Daniel, Steven, and Dominick; and his maternal grandparents. Also surviving are his girlfriend, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at the MOUNT LAUREL HOME FOR FUNERALS, 212 Ark Rd, Mount Laurel.

Funeral Service and final disposition will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joe may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.
