To My Dear Family and Friends

Words alone cannot express the gratitude that I feel
and how touched I am by your overwhelming support,
love and generosity. I will never forget what you
have done on my behalf over the past ten weeks.
The many acts and words of kindness that I have
encountered are truly both comforting and inspiring.
I sincerely cannot thank you enough.
While I have had the fortune of concentrating
all of my energy toward the challenge that life has presented to me,
you’ve sacrificed your time and energy
to insure my burdens would be none other than this fight.
That is a gift that is priceless and I am truly humbled
to have such support in my life.
A lot of my optimism stems from my realization
of the quality of people that exist in my life.
Thank you so much for attending tonight’s dinner.
