Windows-based Network Configuration and Security Scanner This product is intended for administrators of Microsoft networks. It allows the user to scan their network to collect configuration and security settings from Windows PCs. Settings can also be changed from here.

Java-Based Network Security Management System This is an enterprise-scale product for Network Administrators, allowing them to monitor and configure security settings across large, heterogeneous networks. This is a very complex tool, intended for expert users. The first sample shows several design proposals I created along with the lead developer for the main security monitoring screen. The second sample shows a typical design artifact: an annotated storyboard of a design for "Alarm Rules" setting, one of the key tasks in the product.

Email Privacy Product - Plug-in for Outlook 2000 This product enables email users to add privacy "policies" to their messages, including expiration date, copy protection and limits on where the message can be read. The goal was to incorporate new features as seamlessly as possible into the normal email experience.

Human Resources Benefits Adminstration In this Benefits Management product, part of the SAP R/3 system, the information about employee benefits can be very complex. The goal of this design was to make all information about a given employee accessible on a single screen. I proposed three alternatives:

Toolbox for an Engineering Measurement Product This project involved simplifying commonly used measurements and making them easier to find. I proposed a toolbox: a single place where users could quickly get to all the most important and frequently used functions.
